Sociologists call us the "fast-forward generation". The generation who will retire and end up in an asylum at the age of 38.
The sociologists are not so far from the truth: we, the "generation of today", want to reach Zen as easy as one, two, three; we no longer call Directory Enquiries to obtain a telephone number, we Google it; we no longer take a bath, we take a shower.
And yet, please don't judge us too harshly for the new world is being built upon us. We'll never be able to stop, no matter how aware we may be that we 'should take it easy'.
We cut corners, work more, want to get THERE as fast as possible.
Nevertheless, the black-and-white photos from "when we were young" are the clear proof that, at least sometimes, tired from all this fast-forward, we would like to rewind.
